Cucina Botanica is the symbol of plant-based cuisine and sustainable lifestyle in Italy. Carlotta Perego, founder and face of the project, has been able to normalize and make pop a niche topic full of stereotypes such as plant-based cuisine.

To date, Cucina Botanica welcomes a close-knit and loyal community of over one million users on various social networks.
In 2020 Carlotta published her first book "Botanical Cuisine: vegetal, good and conscious", which in just 6 months exceeded 100,000 copies sold, remaining at the top of the sales charts for months, thus becoming a real editorial case study.

This unprecedented success in the sector was possible thanks to Carlotta's inclusive, positive and welcoming communication which brings together and brings together - as well as vegans and vegetarians - many people who intend to adopt, even only partially, this lifestyle (87%) .

In 2021 Carlotta was named by Forbes magazine among the young Under 30 leaders of the future. In the same period, Fortune magazine included Carlotta with Cucina Botanica in the "40 under 40" list, the list of the most influential young leaders of the year.

On November 8th, Carlotta's third book was released in all bookstores: "Vegetale Insieme, Botanical Cuisine recipes to share"
